My journey as a developer and entrepreneur
As a developer and entrepreneur, I solve problems with technology. I build projects like Soursea and Don't Touch — each born from a real problem I faced — and share what I learn through this blog. I don't stop at building, either: my generative pipelines and internal tools run on self-hosted infrastructure I operate myself — a home GPU workstation and a cloud VM tied together over a Tailscale mesh.
Tied a home GPU workstation (RTX 4080) and an Oracle Cloud VM together over a Tailscale mesh to run self-hosted infrastructure. Caddy and DuckDNS expose only what needs to be public; Infisical (secrets) and Plane (project management) run self-hosted, monitored via PowerShell health-check scripts and Uptime Kuma. The generative pipelines in studios and ai-4080-ops run on top of this.
Released public-data and developer-tool projects — RentRights (LA rent-control estimator for tenants), DevDeck (a command deck for Claude Code, Codex and Antigravity projects), citefirst (a RAG system that verifies its citations and measures its retrieval), and TransitLA (car-free LA discovery on public transit).
Built a personal generation pipeline where Claude drives image, video, 3D, voice, and music through MCP tools — generate, pass a machine gate, inspect the result directly, retry. Six repositories were consolidated into a single monorepo through history-preserving subtree merges, and an agent harness now lets a local LLM call those tools itself from a natural-language brief. The hero images on this site's blog came out of it.
Rapidly designed, built, and shipped web and mobile products — healframe (mental health), argus-fusion (real-time OSINT), zodiacly (horoscope), and kindling (emotional care).
Solo-built an AI sourcing assistant SaaS while preparing my own sourcing business. Developed web, desktop, and Chrome extension with Stripe billing and Shopify integration
Built a webcam-based habit-breaking desktop app driven by personal experience with trichotillomania. Real-time hand-to-face detection using MediaPipe Vision
As CTO for five years and two months, I owned the full technical operation of an AI-powered e-commerce and dropshipping platform. I built a NestJS backend of 18+ API modules behind a React frontend, integrated OpenAI and Replicate for automated product-content generation and Stripe for subscription billing, and shipped multi-marketplace inventory sync across Shopify, Cafe24, Amazon, Taobao and AliExpress plus proxy-purchasing infrastructure — owning architecture through deployment while leading developer workflows and technical direction.
